CSO/Hypertension

Hypertension is a national scourge that far too many Danish people are affected by without knowing it. Once the illness has been diagnosed, it is important for the patient’s blood pressure to be regularly monitored. Otherwise he or she is at risk of contracting narrowing of the blood vessels, heart failure, kidney failure, blindness or cerebral haemorrhage. With improved treatment, these complications can be avoided and average life expectancy is virtually normal.

CSO/Hypertension is a comprehensive “disease management” system which has been specially developed for the treatment of hypertension. The system offers a highly-structured sequence of operations and decision-making support, thus ensuring a consistently high quality of treatment.
